music I've written

If you have speakers that can handle low frequencies, use them.
The lowest quality of speakers WILL play the song, but certain noises won't be heard.

Your hair formed from dust, and your teeth from stone
Two legs made of roots,
Planted so deep, you’ll never be moved,
Standing firm, but swaying in the wind.
Your hands long enough to reach the sky,
but folded tightly in your lap,
with eyes like diamonds you shine so bright.
Bright enough to blind a ruby, and burn the sun,
You swing your arms, and the children dance.
I want to know what you mean, what you say, what you do.
Lord God, please forgive me for all I’ve done.
Forgive me when I say I don’t believe.

music

Excited to be writing new (AtDH) music again!
Really wanting to listen to a lot of albums right now.
Going to get something to drink.

Hold on to me,
on my deathbed,
babe I love you,
tell the kids as well

My head has sweat too long,
and I've cried too many tears,
my blood is cursed,
but you're my blessing.

Some day I hope to see you again,
Some day I hope to love you again,
Some day, yes someday,
I hope there is a someday.

#

All along the dusty bank,
floats 45 boats full of men,
ready to own, and ready to seize,
any land they see.

They drop the hatch,
and storm the land,
down the natives,
and take their gold.

Their mothers must not have taught them,
You can't just take what isn't yours,
It's just not polite.

They continue on, and take more land,
until they can't take much more,
and they live like kings,
fit to rule the land.

Until that very day that one stood up,
and said "no more" to the the kings and men.

Oh they fought hard, but a force was behind this young one,
a force we'll never know, but their sword was strong,
and the fight was short.

To the top they rose, but to the land they gave,
their heart and protection.

Oh young one, we love you!
You have sent legions to the grave,
but sent us new birth. You, we trust.
